We acted for two partners who wanted to leave a partnership and set up in competition. The remaining partners sought to enforce the Partnership Deed which contained restrictive covenants. We were able to negotiate an advantageous exit for the two partners which allowed their new partnership to start without delay. They were also able to take a significant number of their clients with them.
We acted for the 50% shareholder of a cross border company who had fallen out with his co-owner. We negotiated the co-owner's exit from the company including the sale of her shares to our client and the imposition of covenants preventing her from competing with the company.
