A company needed to move its headquarters. In order to fund a brand new building it needed to get planning permission to develop its old site for housing. Planning permission would only be granted if it entered into a planning obligation to provide funding for local infrastructure and affordable housing. We negotiated and agreed the necessary documentation with the local planning authority, releasing the permission and allowing the move to go ahead.

A company had planning permission for houses but did not want to build them until market conditions improved. We advised them how to preserve the life of the permission and negotiated on their behalf with the Council to postpone the payment of planning contributions that the Council had asked for.

A company had permission to hold weddings in the hall of its country house headquarters, but the number it was allowed to hold was limited. We advised on the options available to them if they wanted to expand this side of their business, and on the planning policies and other considerations which would impact on their chances of getting permission.
