We acted for an educational establishment who wanted to sell an investment property which they had owned for many years. We identified that there was a planning issue with the use for the property and were able to suggest a way forward with the purchaser which enabled the sale to complete in order for our client to purchase a student hall of residence with the proceeds. 
Our existing clients contacted us wanting to sell a large country property they had bought 3 years previous. In addition to carrying out standard selling procedures we were also able to offer advice on how to terminate the contract of the housekeeper with the help from our employment team. Once buyers had been found, we exchanged contracts and were able to complete soon after. During this process our employment team were on hand to assist with the transfer of employment of the housekeeper, who the new owners wished to keep on!
We acted for an individual who wanted to enter into a joint venure with a builder to develop his house and sell it as flats. We worked with our client's accountant to set up a joint venture agreement and construction agreement in the most tax effective manner and which would provide easy sale of the flats going forward.
