Our forthcoming training programme of events is as follows:


12 April - Employment Law update (9.30-12.30) - £165 +VAT

Prepare for the April 2012 changes to employment law and what is coming up, and reflect on the implications of significant recent case law. 

Key topics include: 

• unfair dismissal qualifying period: increase from 1 to 2 years
• equal treatment for agency workers
• Tribunal reforms, including  Acas and pre-claim conciliation, and financial penalties for employers.
• current consultations e.g.  flexible parental leave, right to request flexible working to be extended to all employees with 26 weeks' continuous employment, 
• future consultations e.g. 'protected conversations' between employer and employee, protection of vulnerable groups and CRB checks
• recent case law.

This session will also explore social media and social networks and the problems they pose for employers, and review recent case law, to see how it will impact on your organisation.
