OUR CHARGES FOR BUILDING YOUR PORTFOLIO
1) Wills
Type of Will Cost
A Will for an individual £275 + VAT
Joint Wills for a couple £375 + VAT
NB: If on discussing your wishes and circumstances it appears that trust or tax planning work is required, we will quote a price for these and you are then free to 'shop around'.
2) Powers of Attorney
Type of LPA Cost
LPA £300 + VAT
LPA's for a couple £550 + VAT
NB: Once this is prepared, it can then be formally activated either at a time of your choosing by you registering it, or - in the event that you lose capacity to deal with your own affairs - your nominated attorney can activate it by registering it. In either case there is a fee payable to the court of £120. For us to register it, we would charge an additional £175 + VAT.
3) Your PORTFOLIO
We give this to you free of charge when we deliver your Will to you. When your Will is signed and executed, we can also store the original securely for you, free of charge, and will let you have copies to keep in your Portfolio with all your other documents.
4) Annual review
Each year we will carry out a review with you to see if you want or need to change anything in your Will, and also we operate an 'alert' system to advise you of any changes in the law or the tax rules which affect you. This annual review is free of charge. If work is then needed, we will tell you what we would charge and you are then free to "shop around”. The alert system is also provided free of charge.
