Mrs A was awarded £38,000 when she suffered from a fracture to her pelvis and right acetabulum when she fell to the floor after she was hit in the back of her head by an object that flew from a passing lorry. She required crutches to walk for a period of six months. She was able to mobilise without support after that, but suffered significant pain from her right hip which required extensive physiotherapy treatment.
Mr W suffered soft tissue injuries to his neck and shoulder following a road traffic accident which Mr W was involved in. As a result of Mr W's injuries he suffered from disturbed sleep and general pain. We were able to recover £3,500 for Mr W.
Mr V, a 61 year old male was awarded £30,000 after a hospital failed to diagnose and treat a sceptic arthritis condition which damaged Mr V's hip resulting in the need for a full hip replacement. Mr V attended hospital on three separate occasions before the infection was diagnosed. The hospital accepted liability after we served Particulars of Claim.
