Mr M came to us following a car accident he had been involved in where he suffered whiplash injuries. The collision accelerated the onset of a previously asymptomatic degenerative cervical spine by three years and Mr M required physiotherapy treatment. We were able to deal with Mr M's case and he was awarded £6,500 for his injuries.
Mr B was awarded £36,000 when the car in which he was a front seat passenger failed to take a corner and the car crashed in to a tree. Mr B suffered a fracture of the right femur; laceration of the right knee with complete division of the patellar tendon; extensive laceration of the right shin; laceration of the left hand with division of the extensor tendons and multiple cuts and bruises. He also suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Specific Phobia relating to his resulting anxiety about car travel which required treatment through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Mr J recovered £64,000 for injuries and loss suffered when he was involved in a road traffic accident which caused a severe chest injury; right clavicle fracture; left greater tuberosity fracture; a closed right femoral shaft fracture; left leg and foot ecchymosis; major internal and external bruising; lacerations and swelling to the body and fractured fingers and toes. The accident also caused an exacerbation of a Generalised Anxiety Disorder. Mr J recovered damages for lost earnings and ongoing treatments costs.
