Did the Vendor get proper planning permission for everything that he has done to and in the property? If not, should he have done?

Has he complied with any conditions or restrictions that were imposed on any planning permissions?  Could enforcement action be taken against you by the Local Authority now? Could the value of the property be affected?

You may want to rent the property out, or to allow your student offspring to live there with their friends; you may want to run a business from home, to keep horses or extend your garden. Are you sure you will be able to do as you wish?

Alternatively, there may be a planning condition or a Planning Obligation that was imposed in the past which actually restricts the use you can put the property to or requires you to do something that you are not able to do.
