Mr H wrote his will with us 5 years ago and recently visited us for a will review meeting. When reading through the will, Mr H realised that the executor he had appointed had passed away recently. As this was the only change to the will, we were able to appoint a replacement executor for Mr H by way of a codicil to the will.
Mr D wrote a will in 2009. Following his marriage, he came to our offices to write a new will. The effect of his marriage was to revoke his 2009 will so we helped him draft a new will in which he made provision for his wife and made provision for any children they should have in the future.
Dr Y recently purchased a house in Spain. We advised Dr Y regarding the advantages of writing a will in Spain dealing exclusively with his Spanish property. We then drafted a second will for him to dispose of his English assets without revoking his Spanish will.
